1-Preparing and using a simple mask
1-Start with a clean skin. Before using this bicarbonate mask, the skin needs to be well cleaned, that is, without any oiliness or impurity. The tip is to use warm water and some product of your preference.
2-Prepare the mask made with baking soda and water.
You will need 3 teaspoons of baking soda for every 1 teaspoon of water.
Mix the two ingredients until a paste forms.
The baking soda is a gentle but excellent exfoliant! It also has antifungal and antiseptic properties - that is, it is ideal for the treatment of blackheads.
Do not forget to use 100% bicarbonate of sodium.
3- Spread this mixture on your face using your fingers. If you prefer, dip the tip of a towel into the paste and use the fabric to apply the mask to the skin.
Avoid areas around the eyes and mouth and focus on the "T zone", especially on the nose, where many blackheads usually appear.
Massage your face for about 5 minutes, but be gentle and smooth all the time.
4- Rinse skin with warm water. At this point, removing the entire mask is critical.
Pay attention to the area of the eyebrows, as the bicarbonate usually gets stuck in the hairs.
5- Dry your face with a soft, clean towel. Do not rub! Go lightly beating.
BEFORE & AFTER
6 Finish by passing a moisturizer and then a tonic. The moisturizer serves to keep the skin soft, while the tonic will help in restoring the pH and also in the closing of the pores.
The paste of bicarbonate and water can be used as a very simple facial mask.
To do this, pass all over the face (avoiding eyes and mouth) and let it act for half an hour. Any cleanser for the skin can turn into an exfoliating mask. Just add some baking soda.
Next time you wash your face, try mixing some baking soda with the product before washing the skin normally. In addition to helping to combat acne, bicarbonate also improves some skin problems, such as psoriasis and dermatitis.
Baking soda also helps soothe sun-irritated skin or insect bites.
Baking soda can irritate some more sensitive skins. Therefore, it is important to perform a test inside the elbow.
The tip is to spend some of the mask in that place and let it act for a few minutes. If the skin does not irritate after a few hours, the mixture can be safely used on the face. When applying bicarbonate, avoid rubbing the skin tightly so as not to leave it irritated. If the skin begins to itch or burn during the application, remove the mask immediately!
