Tania Damasceno is a freelance hair and makeup artists. I am managing with all inquiries, bookings, and payments as a stylists have my own insurance.
Inquiries, booking and payment process
Inquiries can be made via the phone, website or by email. Once you decide the choice of payment required over the phone so we can establish the most suitable look. Once particulars are established I will send you a quote via email.
Bookings are to be secured with a deposit totaling 60% of the wedding day (not including travel). Please note that the booking is not complete until this deposit has been received in full. Once the deposit is received I will confirm this via email.
Deposit payments to Tania Damasceno can be made via bank transfer, Paypal account or cash with receipt. Address and details will be included in your quote which you will receive via email.
You will receive a Booking Confirmation via email, this will include a breakdown of all costs including trial, remaining wedding balance and travel expenses which are all payable to your stylists at the times specified. Their contact details will also be included on this email and from this you can communicate with them directly and book in for a trial.
PRE BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS
PROCEDURES IF TRIALS
BOOKING 25 administration fee. to hold date trial
The official Date of trial If for any reason you are unable to keep to your arranged trial appointment, you must let me know via phone or email as soon as you can. They must be made aware at least 48 hours before if you need to rearrange your trial. If it is within 48 hours of the arranged time we request you pay 60% to the stylist via bank transfer upon rescheduling.
Your refund will be issued via the same method of payment the deposit was originally made with. Refunds can not be issued via an alternative method or to a third party.
Alterations to your trial and booking
I must be made aware of any alterations to a number of clients, times locations and dates as soon as they become apparent.
Changes to a number of clients in the wedding day booking must be finalized in writing, via email and confirmed with me 14 days before the wedding. This applies to both adding and deducting to and from the total amount of clients.
Failure to confirm deductions to the total amount within the stipulated time will result in the original remaining balance being paid in full to the stylist on or before the day of your wedding.
When making additions, a further deposit will be payable to the Makeup Artist. This will be 60% of the total cost of additional clients, the remaining 60% will be payable to the stylist on or before the wedding date. Once confirmed and subsequent deposit has been received, an amended Booking Confirmation will be sent via email with these included.
If you cancel my services less than four weeks before your wedding day itself, you will incur a cancellation fee amounting to 75% of the full charge. There is no refund available at all in the case of cancellation by you less than two weeks before your wedding date, and the full charge will be payable
Times and locations
Timing changes need to be discussed with T Damasceno. I will work to a schedule in accordance to a number of clients in your booking so this may alter arrival and start time. If your location changes this may result in an alteration to the travel charge of your booking. I will do all I can to accommodate and it will be judged on a case by case basis.
Travel is charged at £40.00 pounds a mile after the first 10 miles from the artist’s postcode to wherever you’re getting ready on the day. Please ask for an estimation of cost.
Illness and emergency
In the unforeseen event of an emergency, I will arrange another stylist i.e - I will never let you down. I will make notes of products used at trial
In an extreme case should a stylist not be able to attend you will be refunded.
TANIA DAMASCENO Makeup Artist . reserves the right to make changes in prices and service details on this site without due notice.
PAYMENTS TERMS- Payments for makeup trials is payable on the day of the trial by cash or money transfer.
Following the successful trial, a 60% non-refundable deposit to secure the wedding date .This will be deducted from your final invoice which is payable by bank transfer or cash two weeks before the wedding day.
Please be advised that during peak season (1st May to 30th September), we require a minimum booking for two people for both hair and make-up (i.e. Bride & bridesmaid, or Bride & mother, etc).
Unfortunately, I do not offer a service for brides hair on its own. Bride’s hair must be booked in conjunction with bridal makeup. However, we do offer just hair and/or makeup for bridesmaids and mothers when the bride has already booked full makeup and hair. Exact pricing to be confirmed after your consultation.
Payment for consultations will be taken on the day of the consultation itself.
The final balance of any fees must be settled a minimum of 2 weeks prior to your wedding day. Cash, bank transfer or Payment by Paypal as preferred.
Makeup Assistant fee
If your bridal party is three or more people for full hair and makeup, I will be accompanied by an experienced assistant for which there will be an additional £95 fee.
Journey time & travel expenses
Journey time and travel expenses for both your consultation and wedding day will be charged as follows:
journeys up to 10-mile radius from Sutton SM2, Surrey – no charge
journeys between 10 and 20 miles from Sutton SM2, Surrey – £45.00 a mile
journeys over 20 miles from Sutton SM2, Surrey – £60.00 a mile
An additional £50 will be charged for consultations that take place on a Sunday or a Bank Holiday.Early morning fee
A fee of £50 will be charged for start times/long journeys that begin before 8 am
